 Thruxton Gardening Club
 
Last Wednesday of the month 7.30pm
We meet at 7.30, in the Memorial Hall on the last Wednesday of most months. A range of speakers come in and talk about subjects that cover many aspects of the natural world that can range from re-wilding to how to care for your clematis. We also arrange periodic visits to local (and sometimes not so local) gardens that are not always readily open to the general public.

 Thruxton Threads

Every other Tuesday morning, we meet in the Hall to share our love of stitching. We are a small group of mixed ability sewers, but we have a lovely time and even manage to complete some projects.
A recent achievement was making a quilt that was entered in the National Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham in August. This was no mean feat for such a small group and it was lovely to see our quilt hanging with the other 600 entries.
If you have an interest in patchwork, quilting, embroidery or any other such activity, please come and join us. New members from Thruxton and beyond are always welcome. You can be certain of a cup of tea and a biscuit (if Lorraine remembers to bring some!). Contact: Kate Christie 07736 804 445.
 
Thruxton Board Game Club

Well this one does exactly what it says on the tin!
Open to everyone, this friendly group meet to play all sorts of games, most, but not all of which you will be familiar.
Friendly rivalry and fun – it’s a snip. Do come and join us if you can.
 
Andover Ladies Choir
 
Wednesdays 7.30-9.30pm during term time
For 2 hours we lose ourselves in songs from shows, folk songs, sacred music and pop.
All ladies are welcome, many don't read music, so if you would like to join a choir who love to perform, compete and sing to a high standard, whilst having a lot of fun, call Clare Oliver on 07970 139395.
